2021 Winter Flag Football

Are you ready for some flag football?

Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country!

This 7-practice/6-game season held on Saturday's in December and January, is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 10-11 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football.

Games will take place between 10:00am and 6:00pm on Saturdays (subject to change depending on field availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the December 4th Meet and Greet & 1st practice. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week.

All 32 NFL teams will be represented! Players will receive an authentic NFL reversible jersey for their team and a flag belt, theirs to keep! Pre-Kindergarten thru 3rd Grade divisions (Lombardi and Shula) will receive individual participation awards at the end of the season. Madden divisions (4th thru 8th grade) will participate in playoff games on the last day of the season - 1st and 2nd place teams only will receive awards!

There are no try-outs! Everyone participates!

Our program relies on parents and family volunteers to coach and manage our teams! We encourage all family members interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. We will provide you several resources, along with a comprehensive informational meeting before, and a live "Coaches Corner" throughout the season, to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!

Registration will be from September 23rd through November 14th. Late Registration continues after November 14th, based on availability and carries an additional charge.

Season Start Date (Meet and Greet) December 4th 2021

Season First Game: December 11th 2021

Season Expected End Date: January 29th 2022

Makeup Date: February 5th 2022 (It is common to use this date for weather delays and/or field conflicts)

EXCEPTIONS:

SCOTTSDALE will play its first two weeks of the season on Sundays (12/5 and 12/12). The remainder of the season will be played on Saturdays.

CESAR CHAVEZ will begin play Saturday, December 11th with the season running through early February.

Registrations will be accepted after the deadline based on availability and will incur an additional cost of $25.00 for the late-add process.

Due to our COVID-19 environment, we will continue to host virtual coaches' meetings this season. All equipment including jerseys, flag belts & merchandise purchased at registration, will be shipped directly to your home. A $6.99 shipping fee will be added on to all participant's registrations.
